Privacy Policy
Zntkor (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an offline-first lens collection and shoot journal for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Summary
- No account is required to use Zntkor.
- Lenses, mount tags, shoot logs, photos, and voice notes are stored on your device unless you export or share them yourself.
- We do not operate a cloud sync service for your collection data.
- Optional in-app purchases of Zntkor Coins are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.
Information stored in the app
Depending on how you use Zntkor, the app may store locally on your device:
- Lens names, focal lengths, apertures, weights, mount tags, and lens photos
- Shoot sessions with scene tags, exposure notes, experience tags, sample photos, text notes, and optional voice memos
- Dust-clean records and reminder preferences
- Collector display name and app preferences
- Zntkor Coins balance (virtual currency used inside the app)
You can delete all app data from the Me tab using Clear All Data. This removes local records and media created by the app on that device.
Device permissions
Zntkor may request the following permissions only when a feature needs them:
- Camera — to photograph lenses and shoot samples when logging sessions.
- Photo Library — to import images and save HD lens card exports.
- Microphone — to record optional voice shoot notes.
- Notifications — to deliver local dust-check reminders you enable.
You can change or revoke permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
In-app purchases
Zntkor offers optional consumable Zntkor Coins through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and handled by Apple. We receive purchase confirmation from Apple to credit coins in the app. Coins have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed outside Zntkor. There is no “Restore Purchases” for consumable coin packs.
App Tracking Transparency
On supported iOS versions, the app may ask whether you allow tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. The message shown is: “Zntkor may use this identifier to deliver personalized features and optimize your app experience. You can decline and still use all app features.” If you decline, Zntkor continues to work. We do not sell your personal information.
Data sharing
We do not sell your collection data. Information may leave your device only when you:
- Export a PDF (lens case, shoot log, or journal) and share it through iOS
- Save an HD lens card image to your photo library
- Use the system share sheet for any exported file or image
Children’s privacy
Zntkor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
